Is awareness of your media consumption the first step in combating it?

Ross Dowd & Brendan Spillane

Does the responsibility for moderating the balance of our media intake fall on the individual, or on the social media companies that promote the news?

Your Balanced Media Diet explores media consumption habits by showing you how your preferences fit within the overall news media landscape — and interrogating if you should consider adding variety to your media diet or include a news source with a different profile.
