The diverse range of educational programmes on offer at Science Gallery provide young people with the opportunity to pursue creative ideas that interrogate and explore the boundaries of art and science.

Science Gallery targets young adults aged 15–25, people at key stages of their life regarding school subject choices, college courses and decisions relating to future careers. Our education programmes aim to ignite a passion for science, technology and innovation, highlighting the rich network of interconnections between science, the arts, culture, design, business and innovation.

These programmes give students the opportunity to interact with leading researchers, entrepreneurs and creative individuals and get an insight into the exciting career possibilities in these fields.

Potential Futures

Potential Futures programme is a new after-school programme, which was created in response to demand from alumni of our TY programmes who wanted to continue to engage with Science Gallery Dublin. Potential futures is a space where students get a chance to interact with leading scientists, researchers, designers, and thinkers, to take part in workshops to explore and test out, the many potential futures that lie ahead of them. The course is designed in collaboration with students, we utilize Science Galleries networks and resources to create, programming that responds to areas that students are most interested in - from dissecting eyeballs to solar telescope tutorials, and finding out the connection between theoretical physics and the Xbox.
This initiative is proudly supported by HSBC.
