Science Gallery Dublin are launching a new book club designed to facilitate dialogue and debate around influential and thought-provoking texts.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Book Club series. Each quarter, we’ll select a book that piques our interest, spanning topics across art, humanities, science, and technology. You’ll have three months (plenty of time!) to read it before we get together to discuss, dissect and read between the lines.
Have a book you’ve been meaning to read? Nominate it for our second Book Club event by emailing it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or message us @SciGalleryDub using #SGDBookClub. Five books will be shortlisted and added to a poll on social media so you’ll get the opportunity to vote on your top choice.
If you’ve booked a place in the now SOLD OUT first Book Club event, you can pick up your copy of Humanology in our Science Gallery Shop (who are giving a special 10% discount to all Book Club attendees!).
The Science Gallery Dublin Book Club is powered by Heliosphere; Heliosphere is born out of the need to understand, gather and structure the citizen’s expectations towards social media, influencing the development of future social media platforms. It facilitates direct citizen participation via recorded and live-streamed conversations.
