Join us as we scour the city of Dublin for intended and unintentional acts of Hostile Architecture, as part of our DESIGN AND VIOLENCE exhibition.
How many benches designed to prevent sleeping rough can you spot? Are those spikes to prevent skateboarding, or purely aesthetic? What about especially rare hostile design specimens that subtly influence public space throughout Dublin?
Come alone or in a group, and receive a scavenger briefing on hostile architecture theory before taking off on a photographic adventure. The winners will be the team who capture the most photographs of hostile architecture in 60 minutes. The resulting map and photographs will be shared online, and form the basis for a public debate at Science Gallery later in 2016.
