€100
Makeshop, Lincoln Place

If you’re considering learning how to code in 2016 then this is the workshop for you. From architects to zoologists, almost everyone has a website these days, isn’t it time you made the leap from browser to builder? Whether you want to promote a business, event or club - or if you just enjoy the challenge of learning something new - our relaxed workshops will show you how the web is made.

Being a course about websites, you’ll be provided with lots of online resources. Every week as new topics are introduced you’ll get plenty of helpful practice problems to keep you going between each workshop. We’ll start off by learning the most common languages for web development, before moving on to setting up WordPress to suit our needs. After this we’ll cover registering an address and get started with web hosting. To cap everything off we’ll fly through frameworks and learn about the most popular testing tools.

You’re just a click away from making websites in Makeshop, so what are you waiting for?

Please note that this is a three week course, taking place over 3 consecutive Wednesday evenings.
