Moog Residency Performance - Alex Murray-Leslie

In 1964, Dr. Robert Moog introduced the world to a completely new type of instrument that would go on to change the course of music history. The Moog Sound Lab travels around the world showcasing the limitless capabilities of the Moog synthesiser sound. For the first time, Moog Sound Lab will come to Trinity College Dublin, offering unique performances from artists keen to explore the sonic potential that the Moog Lab has to offer.

This summer, as part of the SOUNDCHECK exhibition, Science Gallery Dublin has teamed up with the National Concert Hall to host a series of residencies in the Moog Sound Lab at the gallery.
The artists will explore and experiment live in the exhibition space of Science Gallery, Dublin over the course of their week long residency, which will be open to the public. Here they will create a unique new composition in collaboration with a contemporary, inspired by the unique capabilities of the Moog, the artists surrounds and their own practise.

Chicks on Speed is a leading-edge, multimedia art collective blurring the lines between art, music, fashion, new media technologies and performance. Founding member Alex Murray-Leslie will be the first artist at the Moog Sound Lab residency at Science Gallery Dublin.
