We are joining the National Gallery of Ireland on Sunday, 10 September for their day of free public activities dedicated to exploring life and art in the Dutch Golden Age. From archival displays to drop-in family sessions, from public talks to soundscapes, and from film screenings to nail art, there will be something to suit all ages! All events are free, and there is no booking needed. This day-long celebration is in association with the exhibition Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting: Inspiration and Rivalry.
You can find Science Gallery Dublin in the Atrium from 14.00 to 16.00. We are presenting Noise Studio off-site, the interactive makerspace from our summer exhibition SOUND CHECK. Visitors can get to grips with sound looping, circuits, synths and soundscapes created in response to the Vermeer exhibition.
