You are invited to a seminar by Ray Jones, Professor of Health Informatics at the University of Plymouth UK and Director of the eHealth Productivity and Innovation in Cornwall (EPIC) project, on Friday 16th November in the Paccar Lecture Theatre from 11.30-12.30, with lunch afterwards in the lounge.

EPIC Project

In Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, the EPIC project is bringing together health and care professionals, patients, developers and others to find or develop digital health and care solutions ranging from apps, websites, through devices to robotics. We are supporting small companies, including a number of start-ups with products ranging from a social prescribing platform through to the development of a new companion robot. We have a Challenge Fund that Cornish based small companies can apply to, and our colleagues in Invest in Cornwall can also help with setting up in the county.

Newquay Airport, Cornwall is just a one hour flight away from Dublin and even quicker by Skype! We are keen to collaborate with researchers, companies, health and social care professionals and voluntary organisations in Ireland so please do come along for a discussion on Friday 16th November.
