Join us for the launch party of CONFLUENCE as Science Gallery Dublin welcomes members of the scientific, artistic and everyone else in between communities to discuss the impact that informal education has and can have on modern Irish society.

On the night you will be treated to an in-depth discussion around how the confluence of science, art, technology and design can inspire the future of education in Ireland. Chair of Philanthropy Ireland, Bernard Kirk will join Dublin Maker's David McKeown to discuss how events and organisations can help shape the landscape of learning through informal activities. With other speakers still to join the panel, this event is surely one not to be missed.

Attendees will also get a chance to add their details to the SySTEM 2020 European mapping tool whilst meeting and discussing potential collaborations in a face-to-face setting. Science Gallery's own Mairéad Hurley will outline the project, what it aims to do and what it can do for you. The map itself is an online visualisation tool where over 2000 STEAM initiatives will be mapped providing a network of organisations for you to connect with. Become involved in the movement to co-create, collaborate and share knowledge, as we shape a future society for the people who live in it.

Refreshments and finger food will be provided. There are a limited number of places so confirm your place today.
