In 1993, Ann Kelleher became the first woman ever to receive a Ph.D. in microelectronics at University College Cork. Almost 18 years later, she would become a Vice President at Intel and co-manager of half of Intel’s factories and 14,000 employees around the world. As co-manager of Fab Sort Manufacturing at Intel Ann is responsible for an organization that fabricates all of Intel’s chips from the U.S, China, Ireland, and Israel.

The presentation will cover Ann’s story to Vice President at Intel, Intel’s current business status and challenges followed by Q and A’s.
