Ally Nolan graduated with a joint major in Fashion Design and Art History from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Going on to complete a Masters Degree in Irish Art History at Trinity College. Her primary interest lies in how new technologies can be embraced and integrated into fashion design. Her work aims to marry the old with the new; combining labor-intensive needlework, beading, and textile manipulation with 3D printing and laser cutting. In turn, establishing a hybrid design approach combining hand and digital craft.
