Applications now open for Cancer Uncovered Transition Year Week

Cancer Uncovered is a creative science TY week at Science Gallery Dublin, organised by researchers from Trinity College Dublin. It will be a fun week that will involve learning about cancer biology, and using that information for creative outputs such as art and drama!

TY students will be mentored in the mornings about cancer biology, and then facilitated to express this biological information in a creative output by a creative mentor. These will include Louise White, Paper Panther and R Studio. If you are interested in animation, theatre or print and want to find out more about biology and cancer then this is the week for you.

The week will take place 12-15 November 2018.

Students should click here to fill in the application form. Applications close on November 1st at 12pm, we will contact applicants to confirm their attendance.

NOTE: There will be aspects of theatre and drama performance involved, if this is not something you are interested in or feel uncomfortable about then maybe this isn't the TY week for you but feel free to apply to other TY weeks at Science Gallery Dublin instead here.

This workshop is possible thanks to funding from the Health Research Board (HRB).
